when i originally setup adgroups i set all the kw's to .01 cents... then i use the edit cpc tool for all the keywords and increase them to the min bid... this helps you insure that your not paying the least possible for each keyword... the thing that google needs to do is make a tool where you can set your max minimum bid and the system will automatically reactivate keywords that are inactive but still beneath your max min bid... example lets say you have 100 keywords at .05 cents ... but google decides to up those keywords to .08 cents right now you have to manually up those bids to ..08 cents.. G should create a system that uses ur max minimum cpc to reactivate keywords that went to inactive status..

great tip mate, but i would suggest not always using the minimum bid....depending on the competition you might want to get clicked once in a while ;-)
