Have you seen such an icon next to someone else's ad?

Many times, I am surprised actually more people are not talking about it or the method by which to set it up?

You've seen this on Google? I have never seen it. Snap.com has it, but to my knowledge, Google does not.

I wonder if there is some bit of spyware/adware that is doing this on your computer and hijacking the revenue in some way. You might want to sweep your computer just in case.

It's not in the AdWords interface to set up and icon and I have never seen an icon by an AdWords ad.

I have seen it today in adsense, the icons are just before the headline of the ad, and are located:

[pagead2.googlesyndication.com...]

(XXX is the domain name for whom the ad is being shown, the graphic is 16x16 and the advert is an otherwise normal advert)

So - how do we get them?

<Added>
I took a screenshot of one if anyone needs clarification, just give me an sticky.

I knew I wasn’t loosing my Marbles. The adsense forum even has a thread on it.

I would like to place my little icon on a few of my ads. I think it would provide some excellent branding...

For some reason the ones I have seen are all EbaY aff ads.

I am finding it odd that no one knows how to add them or is this a special setting most accounts do not have?

It is possible that Google automatically pulls the favicon from your website and you don't need to send it to them.

Unlikely as it would seem google would want more control over what type or more importantly WHAT you display for a graphic.

You have sharp eyes there, blaketar! And you've spotted the results of limited test which is currently underway.

I have no details, though, as to when (or even if) this might become more readily available. When I do know more, you can bet I'll post about it here.

I have only seen a handful of them, and they are primarily "big brands" - eBay, Amazon, TripAdvisor, Register.com

Very eye-catching tho.

Here is a pic of it.

Maybe this feature only available to premium users? But i don't think Adwords has premium.

any ideas?

I took a screenshot of what this thread is about.

How can I show everyone what the new Google ads look like?

I've seen little icons like this in Adwords. You can cut and paste them.
