I have an expensive keyword that I like to target, but natually on Google's search my site is #8 on the first page. I don't have the greatest statistics right now (I'm working on it) to really show If I should continue on the Adwords or is #8 good enough. Kinda a vague question, but any opinions?

If I understand your question then I would recommend that having AdWords is valuable regardless of where you show up for a single search term.

Keep in mind that people search in different ways and by killing an AdWord you may be missing out on some valuable impressions.

Also a certain percentage of searchers will choose AdWords over the regular listings.

I think you need to keep in mind the search volume, how relevant your listing is and what your target CPA is. If you can satisfy all three there is no reason to remove the listing.

I am able to manage a number of listings at #8 and still get significant volume and have a low CPA as a result.
