Does anyone know if you can return "the shaft" without a receipt? I already had a couple ;)

We got a little translucent square radio/light that changes colors. It turns off by turning the thing on its side.

It looks pretty, but I did really like my Google USB keychain last year, and also would have really liked a towel too! = )
Can't be greedy though, thanks Google!

Thanks Google. the radio rocks. I use my USB thing and dragged the towel out to show to friends today. I have the trifecta.

Golly, how much to have to spend on Google to get a gift?

I too would be interested to know the minimum spending for a gift. I can imagine it is multiple thousands per week or month from experience yet I wonder where they actually consider people.

I always like to get my google xmas gift:)

Just dropping in to report that we got the radio light thingy, thanks Google! :)

We are passing it and sharing it around the office, its pretty nifty.

There is also one up for sale on eBay actually so if you weren't one of the lucky ones you can still have one for your very own :P

Greedy hag? They run a business to make money as we do. It is nice they recognise us at the holidays but after that it is still just about money.

Hehe. This may be my only chance to get one! Haven't even seen one 'in person' yet, as a matter of fact...

Yet again, explosive laughter erupts from the vicinity of AWA's desk, following a post from Shak. ;)

Thanks for the very kind offer Shak - but I'd rather they went to advertisers...

Sorry but I don't sell GIFTS on ebay - let alone NEW and COOL gifts, just to make a couple bucks.

(So toddb, sounds like you may be the seller?! Lynch him!)

Shak,

I did send gifts to all customers but not to G. In the Netherlands one tends to care more for customers than suppliers I guess. Good point though....

Only thing I personally received was ice cream at my desk one time. My favorite flavor... :)

I also remember seeing an enormous chocolate bar that took several people to lift...

Maybe I'll ask around and see what else. Oh, and there was that live Tapir that arrived in the post one day. Now that was an event!

Nice! I'm off to look into being a rep... ;)

Here is a little insight for those who are really astonished that they've not received a gift from Google, when they really thought they ought.

It may be good thing to make sure that Google has a clear idea of what the 'right' address is for you. Often, when folks are managing lots of accounts for many clients, the address thing can get a little uncertain.

Disclaimer: This is not my real area of influence, please understand. So I can't really offer anything beyond the advice above, and a sincere hope that things work out for each of you. ;)

it might not just be a function of how much you spend, but how long you've had your account too, to determine if you are below minimum google radio requirements (GRR).

Robsp

Yep and it only takes revenue through the Google engine itself and not it's partners into consideration :)

I was ABOUT to say: "No present this year. No party invite. They really must hate me." but thought I had better check the office before posting...

Turns out we got 2 radios! (Presumably 1 from UK and one from USA). Sadly, they had both found their way out of the building without anyone telling me!

If you can't trust your business partners, what is the world coming to?

Dixon.
