Day 7 results for new Adwords content ads
hasn't gotten better

Looking over dozens of adwords accounts this morning. My CTR (click thru rate) for the new Adwords program is nothing short of MISERABLE.

Although we are now being told to not pay attention to CTR and instead, look at ROI, DOESN'T CTR portend the RELEVANCY of such ads and the mood of the user being shown the ads relative to the serps?

The CTA environment is very different from the search environment. People go to a search engine to find sites. People read online content because they are interested in the content. An ad just might catch their eye and interest them.

Consequently, the CTRs will be very different.

The big question is whether the visitors are of the same quality.
