adwords gives me ** mark without showing

I added about 30 company names from my compettitors. google got some deleted and some **. Some of these haven't even been showed. If I put a new word in now, it automatically gets a ** rating without even showing it first
Is this normal?

he he.. thats a bit of a dirty trick Hercules!

Maybe there are some rules about using competitors names. Maybe there should be as maybe the CTR limits will not be enough to remove your ads. They may well be relevant but is this going too far?

Fascinated to see how this thread develops. Reminds me of the old lawsuits for companies using trademarks in meta tags.

Ive never had keywords removed (then again i dont use competitors names, but youve given me a great idea :)) Ihave had the double asterisks. Maybe they have caught up to you with some names nut not others, and you have been given some sort of ban if you have violated any TOS - violating trademarks?

some competitors do exactly the same? and some of the words of competitors are accepted. Very strang i wrote to adwords i hope they can fix it. because i can't add any words anymore and that is not funny
