Negative keywords
How to come up with a good list

I've just been through my referral logs and added some new negative keywords.

The problem is working out what should be in the list - if someone doesn't click on the ad, you don't see the referral, but your click through rate is harmed.

Any tips for working out negative keywords?

Is it just a matter of intelligent guess-work, or is there a more systematic approach?

Firstly it is logic but I would also actually search for my keywords and see what comes up. If there are irrelevant pages in the results that follow a trend i.e. they are all about the same thing, then I would put those themes as negative keywords.

Hope this helps

Thanks, I was just beginning to work it out on my own, but still most helpful.
