|If Goggle goes down, we are in big trouble. |
I realized that last month when my ads were taken off for 3 days.
Its time you start looking at other pay per click search engines. As they say, don't put all your eggs in the same basket.

They are having problems and don't think they will be fixed until close of play today (Pacific Time).
It's been another frustrating day at the coal face!

aaargg... at least ads are running, but i'm spoiled by what has been consistent real time reports.
When i see numbers pausing like this, the natural first thought is a CC Decline even though it isn't. =p

Don't put all your eggs in one basket. I would NOT recomend anyone to become completely dependand on one lead generator - Google or any other for that sake :)

I would second that "eggs in same basket" comment. I had all my eggs in Yahoo Search Results for a long time, and I did very well while Yahoo! provided the search, and we all know what happened.
The trouble is Google is practically the only game in town for search engines. I hope another search engine comes out and makes a run at google soon.

Google might be the biggest keyword referrer right now, but (a) if you add up the others you still get a lot of visitors and (b) SEM should not be the only marketing you do or the only way you get traffic. You should also have a loyal visiter base (that bookmarks and come back), have members of newsletters that you use to promote the site, use your URL's in ofline marketing etc. Don't rely on search engines only for your business :)
