Cannot see much difference myself. Are you saying lighter colours? If I press F5 I still get the cocktail of various colours. Maybe the pink colour has a lighter shading.

| Adwords seems to have lost its color. hmm. Tech reason for it? |
| Pastel-o-rama still in full effect here. Quirk affecting Opera only perhaps? Fun looking at your favorites though. So tell us Brett... what's the "Google 4x4 Surfer"? :)

>> Tech reason for it? << I doubt that very much. IMHO they are sliding... looking for ways of slowly increasing the exposure of Adwords at the expense of the SERPS. It is (or was) only a matter of time before they started to play with fire. Search engine history tells us clearly that there is always enormous temptation to grab shorter term cash at the expense of longer term prosperity.

off topic i know, but I now think I know more about Brett's personality having had a sneak look at his desktop. There were a few very interesting things there like Leech etc and 2 views of Blogdex... I propose a Foo thread where we all contribute a snapshot of our desktop at a certain time (no cheating and cleaning the desk up!). Im sure we would all get to know each other much better then.

You can see the difference in the two pages show on the screenshot though right? (just the stock adwords on the right. The top premium ads are still colored) It is definately an cloaked Opera fed thing again though. Can't see it in ie and get a different page in ie. Offending code is simply: <td bgcolor=#ffffff> source [webmasterworld.com]

Seems like a couple Opera issues, nothing on IE.

It's not an Opera thing this time (Opera 6.05 for Windows). I see blue for power tools and green for cordless. But... here in the Netherlands we don't have the ads on top. Could that make a difference?

Brett, I see no colors in your screenshot (of course) but I tried the usenet search on both Opera and IE. One is blue, other is Green. Again nothing wrong here.
