I did a search for an adult term. The person is taking up 75% of the screen width - and if you move the mouse over the listing - WITHOUT EVEN CLICKING - up pops the page.

Just do a search for the anything with the most popular four letter adult term in it. xyz [term] or just term itself.

Rhymes with scorn. Forlorn. Jimmy jack corn.

If you aren't in the US - maybe it won't show for you - here is a screen shot.

The popup is from it - trust me.

here is a screenshot - it is the first adwords listing...

wow, although it is not nice to do this i have to congratulte the smart fella. Not that he cheated google but about his knowledge! Who knows- knows! Imagine doing this on some highly competetive term you sell that has "millions" of searches per day! Instant riches! :)

Can't mimic the effect in MSIE 6.0 but I can using Mozilla. I don't think they'll be advertising long with Google so I hope it was worth it for them. :)

6.0.2600

Looks like it is gone, but I copied it for posterity - just add example.htm at the end of the url I posted above. I don't want to link to it.

I hope people won't mind that it is an adult listing. I am sorry if this is against the rules.

Here is the culprit:

<font color=green size=-1>http://www.example.com';location.href='http://example.info/if.html</font>

Should be:
<font color=green size=-1>wvw.example.com/</font>

They were putting:
';location.href='http://example.info/if.html

At the end of what Google is to show as the url.

oops - I obviouly meant www - not wvw in the second example

The htm code I uploaded is straight from the search I did.

Looks like their is a bug in Adwords.

I doubt that even charged him for the clickthroughs.

Well they are mousing over the java thingy - so it doesn't go through the click counter. I wonder if google took him offline manually.
