I just downloaded the new toolbar over the top of my old one. This is really neat. How many times have I wished that I could spell check my WW posts. I can even use it in Gmail to check my Spanish e-mails. Just used it - it uses the same spellcheck features as Gmail. I love the new Google!

Doesn't work in Avant Browser. Had to revert back to the old toolbar. Guess I'll be stuck back in time for a while.

Makes sense to me. Won't be long before the GoogleBar extension for firefox has these features, and google won't have to do a thing.

The toolbar looks pretty nice except for that awful sky blue color that shows up on the toolbar's context menus. Am I the only one seeing this? Is there any way to change that color?

Hi Folks, anyone detected a different PageRank value with the new toolbar? Download Firefox+PR plugin and compare it! I have seen a page (referrer log) with dozens of "NOFOLLOW" protected links, that is a "grey bar" in the Toolbar 3, while the firefox plugin still shows PR6 Any other observations? jez

I like the new feature of translation. Usually I have to click through babylon. Now it's more straightforword. But Another thing is I like firefox, I hope it'll support firefox soon

Couple of things I just e-mailed them on. 1) I do a lot of reading in Spanish language newspapers. Because my computer (or Google search?) has English as the default when I hold the mouse over a word i don't understand nothing happens. When I hold it over an English word it shows me the Spanish equivalent. What I need is the English equivalent for the Spanish words. Any suggestions? 2)The stock and currency quotes don't seem to be working. The URL string appends [xtra] on the end and that seems to throw it off. When I delete this from the URL it works fine - a bug?

After installing new tool bar (IE) two of my sites home pages display grey bar! On another PC with the previous toolbar the home pages shows usual PR. Grey bar also showing up on some internal pages on some of my other sites. Anyone else apart from jez_kewler seeing this?

I am using Proxy Server and Firewall. The toolbar blocks all web-sites even with advanced features disabled. Going bak to previous version :-( G,

This is interesting: Customized searches allow you to search other sites from the Google Toolbar. For example, are you a movie fan? Do you like to search the Internet Movie Database? If so, you can create a Toolbar button to search www.imdb.com. Currently, you can add customized searches to your Google Toolbar if you have customized searches configured for your Google Deskbar or Google Search Appliance.

I confirm checksum algo change. I was comparing this versions: 2.0.114.9-big/en (GGLD)
3.0.119.6-big/en (GGLD) I think there was a big change. I am not sure if the number of digits in the checksum was always the same, but now they are different. Did that change?

I am also very dissapointed that I can't seem to get the toolbar to work in any of my tabbed browsers. I downloaded a couple of others today to test, and nothing. Bummer. I sent the guys at Avant an email a few weeks ago and no response. I wonder why no support for Firefox either.

I checked the PR and backlinks on all of my sites with the old toolbar (version 2). Then installed version 3 and the PR and backlinks had changed on every site I checked.

I have uninstalled the tool bar since it does not make any sense to me and I am not interested how it works, at least at this point. reason I am in such "mood" cause if I search for "my products shopping" - exact phrase search my website comes up as number 1 result, if I search for - my products - my website is not found in the first 1000 search results. Just to Add to it our web site is on the net for 2 years, it validates true validator.w3.org 100% every page, more than 100 back-links from similar product shopping theme sites, Yahoo directory and MS Small business Directory and every customer that spoke with says that they do not have Tool Bar Installed.

I've been using the PR add-in for Firefox. I found something odd. On just one page of one web site, it was showing a PR of zero, when the G toolbar in I.E. was showing a PR of 6. I tested other sites and other pages, and the PR matched between the two. I tried it from my other computer (goes to a different G data center) and they matched (Firefox & I.E.). I went back to the first computer and tried the other computer's data center, and it gave me a zero and a 6 again. Go figure.
