Hidden Features in Google Toolbar
Look at Option Page Source Code

 9:27 am on Mar 15, 2002 (gmt 0)

Here is a commented out function I found in the Google Toolbar’s Option source code. I have found it very useful so I am not sure why it is commented out.

<input type=checkbox onClick="toggle()" name=FancySearch>All-in-one search

To enable this function in the toolbar. Go to the options page first. Then type or paste the following command in the address bar. Note: You must first be already displaying the option page.

There is one other commented out function but it doesn't seem to work. I will let you figure that one out on your own. Perhaps it does work... but I was not able to get it to work.

Nice. I wonder why they have disabled it. Let me know if you figure out the other option.

"Preempt" is one of the registry keys in
the google toolbar tries to open when the browser is opened:

(these keys do not exist and therefor get a NOTFOUND response,
some of them are in the options but i did not enable them)

Prefetch, TileImage, AutoHist, PrivWarn, NewWindow, ClearBox, Tooltips,
StoreHist, ShowHist, Preempt, AutoFocus, NoOnunload, EnterpriseLabel,
EnterpriseHost, EnterpriseSiteList, EnterpriseSite, Vendor

looks like there are some more features to come ;)
