Not only is the toolbar all grey, suddenly I started showing up at the top page of the SERPs for new keyword combinations. Google is changing something tonight.

So I'm not alone. No one on the net has any page rank according to my tool bar. It will be interesting to see if it's just temporary or if they have stopped showing PR on the toolbar.

Maybe they stop showing the pr coz some site are selling there pr.

Before the theories start circulating - I suspect the "no PR" thing is just temporary - it's happened before - I just don't remember it lasting this long - coupled with the change in SERPs, I think it might be some new data being merged into the main index...

I'm still noticing issues with PR in the toolbar. Yes, it did clear up for a while yesterday but the issues have returned. Could this be the sign of something? When was the last "PR update"? How much time was there between the last three "PR updates"?

PR has been flickering in and out of the toolbar, which happens every so often. It's always exciting, because sometimes it coincides with some things changing.

I'm seeing nothing but grey anywhere I go today. Marcia, can you shed a bit more light on the relationship between the PR bar breaking and changes going on behind the curtain? Thanks in advance;)

I find that refreshing the browser, or clicking into the site then back to the home page brings back the green. Tooblbar seems to be working fine for me so far today.

oaktown, I've just noticed it happening every so often, and a few times it coincided with some changes. So I'm assuming there may sometimes be a slight possibility of a connection. OK - hoping is more like it. ;)

| Yeah, usually clicking back and forth will make the PR visible... except for today. Wonder what Google's up to. Perhaps they're recalculating their "fudged number" algo for the toolbar! ;)

Same here in China. I have tried uninstalled Google Toobar, Google Deskbar, a reboot. Toolbar is still grey. Feel quiet unconfortable with Toolbar showing grey for every site. :)

PR has been grey on all sites (not only mine) since yesterday. Maybe this could have something to do with the Yahoo entry made yesterday, which probably caused a chain reaction :)
