is this a correct way of finding PR
using a script

ive had a programmer work on a script that extracts the PR for a list of domains.
the script works from the browser itself.

this is what the programmer solution.do you guys think its a correct solution?please advice

'The script requires that you run IE with toolbar installed. It then tricks the Google''s toolbar software into querying the supplied domain list very quickly, without actually visiting the URLs. While at it, it spies on the traffic that Google sends to the toolbar, and deciphers PR values from there.also this script will work for inactive domains. doesn''t matter whether the domain is currently active.About inactive domains. i was searching such a script, is it really working? and where can i find it?
