Toolbar keeps disappearing

After awhile, my Google Toolbar always disappears--all that remains is a Google searchbox on one of of my other IE toolbars. In other words, I can't figure out any way to view page rank or anything except the search box.

The page rank, etc, are still there somewhat, as a little dropdown menu to the right, but when I click on page rank there, nothing happens.

Right now it's melded with my address bar. If I collapse the address bar, it melds with my standard buttons bar.

The only way I can get the full Google toolbar back is to uninstall, then reinstall it again. It then works fine for a few days before disappearing again.

This is probably a dumb question with a really simple solution, but I can't find it. What am I doing wrong?

Meadow I had a similar problem a while ago but it doesn't seem to be happening since I got a new PC. I never got a solution but at least you know that you are not alone.

Thanks, BeeDee. It's probably safe to assume then that the problem would disappear if I reformatted my hard drive--something I need to do anyway, but just don't get around to.
