B) Domain name: Easily brandable. You want "google.com" and not "mykeyword.com". Keyword domains are out - branding and name recognition are in - big time in. The value of keywords in a domain name have never been less to se's.
I have been doing some homework on the basics of SEO in several posts here in WW.com and above is one that I read, and wonder if this thought still holds true since it was from 2002 post, and has this changed?
Also read much on url with keyword and hyphen to separate the keyword text in the domain. Is this necessary? I thought that easy to remember or write was best for a company. One post suggested using hyphen for search engines and non-hyphen for print and advertising...that seemed a bit weird.
Any thoughts welcome...It's time for me to get back to basics and re-study what I have read here.
