Another keyword selling proposal
is it any good?

I just received a phone call from a sales rep at igetnet. He was trying to sell my three word keyword phrases for $250 a year. This doesnt sound like a bad idea, but the way it works is that users need to download a plugin so that if they type in the keyword phrase into the address bar, it will redirect to the site that is paying for those keywords. I hope that makes sence.

I would just like to know if anyone has purchased keywords from this newly established company, and if they have seen results. So far from what I've read, it sounds like a scam.

Thanks,
Bob

I got off the phone with them this morning and you could spend your money better. This has been around for a few years. The problem is this not too many people search this way, using the address bar for keywords. If you want to give this a try you are more than welcome to and keep us posted. On the other hand if you dont have the funds I would not do it.
