I also use a program called "adwords keywords" and it will do the same keyword checking as well as seeing competitors and competing google campaigns. It costs 89.00 but I think it is worth it, especially if you are planning more than one site.

Hope this helps, I would also like to see more websites like this

Wordtracker is inaccurate. It doesn't even match up with the stats for my own site.

Wordtracker is inaccurate. It doesn't even match up with the stats for my own site.

All keyword tools such as:
Google
Keyword Discovery
Overture
WordTracker

are never going to be 100% accurate as they present data based on their unique keyword sources. That is each one obtains its keyword data from different sources.

There is no one tool, as yet, that covers all other keyword sources, or even one that has full access to Google, Yahoo and MSN, which is what would be needed to get a far closer indication of the actual search volumes.

Cheers
David

Stats cant track impression or search count or how often keyword is searched... Stats can only track people visiting your site...
So it will never match up with your stats ...:)

No guys, that wasn't my point. I'm saying, if I look up the number of times 'widget' is searched for on the net, sometimes Wordtracker is recording less instances that I'm seeing in my own server logs for my site alone.

Keyword Analyzer. Not free, but it centralizes information from Overture, WT, and Google.
