Is there a way to find the most frequently used search terms on the big SEs - related to a specific industry? Like WordTrackers weekly top 500-list, only sorted by industry. For instance: "Finance: real estate, bank, investment, loan, mortgage" or something similar
That top 500 is a good start. Here are a few more to build your list: Personals airline tickets cheap airfare cruises antivirus spyware removal travel online dating web hosting weight loss
These are just a few I can think of off the top of my head. My advise, don't touch these keywords unless you are ready to pay out big, and have a good product or service to return a successful ROI. Better off searching for Niche keywords ;)
>keywordguru: i know it would be impossible to gain top rankings on the phrases you mention. That's why I would like to know the 250th most searched for keyword in the finance, or the 400th most searched for search phrase related to cars, for instance.
Also, I usually optimize for a small language (5 million speakers), which makes the competition a lot smaller...
