Ok, ok, ok.....Hold the phone a minute.
What's BTOpenworld got to do with Google?

Definately not mid March last year. The results on BT Openworld were, until the demerger was announced, provided by BT Looksmart.
That puts an interesting slant on the traffic, be interesting to see the sort of volumes, to compare against Looksmart volumes.
Be interested to see what happens to NTL World etc. the other former BT Looksmart syndicated partners.

|What's BTOpenworld got to do with Google? |
In the past few months I've had maybe a dozen or so various grub and grub type gizmos running amuck on my domain, emanating from BTOpenworld.
Would any of those requests be from BTO as an ISP and / or are they just subscribers of BTO?
Most importantly, does this play into "BTO going Google" in any way?

BT Openworld is a major ISP and has many thousands of users, any one of which could be running their own systems from the Openworld domain.

NTL's search results display a 'Powered by Looksmart' logo by the search box on their home page but in fact return a top section of 'Featured Sites' from Looksmart then it's pure Google all the way, including a Google logo at the bottom of the page results. Don't know how long this has been going on as I've just switched to cable broadband :-)

BtOpenworld's search box has changed (only in the past day or so) from Looksmart to a Pulldown offering Google or Overture
