An absolute wonderful experience, 1 of those weekends I shall remember for a long time. The knowledge in the Hotel Looby and Conference was electrifying, and I am very glad I decided to go. Thanks to Brett and everyone else for such a super job, obviously if I start naming names this thread will go on forever. so Thank You EVERYONE. Shak

I can only re-iterate what Shakil said, a good job done by all who made the event happen. Thanks to Shakil also for being the driver and for dinner. Top guy! When can I book up for the next one?

A huge day, and again, there were more people to meet than there were hours available to chat to everyone in. I had a great time (again). Instant highlights include finally putting a face to Brett of course, oh, and seeing another superbly loud tie in the MakeMeTop collection of course ;) Thanks to all the organisers and sponsors. Next year, perhaps the sponsors will bear in mind how fast we can drink and place a little more behind the bar :)

It was a global event, with people working on the same stuff from all kinds of angles, exchanging freely. Fantastic. Such diversity in backgrounds and lifestyles - all coming together in a pub and a hotel and making up a picture of what the web really is and how it works.

Everyone who was there will agree that this was a superb event. My only regrets were not being able to meet more people - there were so many! Many, many thanks to the Sponsors, WebmasterWorld and (of course) Brett in particular for causing this to happen. Looking forward to the next one :)

Well worth the 4 hour drive down from the rainy North to meet a whole heap of people with a similar interest in mine. Surprised that nobody would tell me how to make millions compared to my current -$39 yearly income ;) Great to meet Calum, Go60guy, Brett, Diddydazz, Chris, the Google Rep and the Yahoo! girl who both had to listen to me moaning about the recent changes and many, many others..... Had a superb time and boy, their single malt WAS fantastic...

Yet another mind-blowing succes. Period! What a pleasure seeing +200 people all freaked out on search engines, marketing and webmaster stuff. If you weren't there you would hadly believe it. The value of exchanging knowledge and talking to both likeminded and especially the search engine reps and sponsors, is to me one of the most valuable things that came out of the conference this time. Hands down, if you are not able to turn the information available there into profit, you weren't listening hard enough :) Nice meeting all that I haven't met before, and a real pleasure seeing all the 'regulars' again. Now, back to digesting it all.

Great gig, Brett. Really interesting to put faces to nicknames. I was encouraged by the openness and friendliness of all, although I should have known this would be the case if you get a bunch of WebmasterWorlders in one room with a free bar! I promise not to lurk as much anymore... ;-) Good to finally meet everyone, especially Barry. See you all next time. Robin

Hmm, what a day! The idea is completely absurd, of course, dropping all the talks and formalized discussions in order to chat over a beer. But it works. Never have we witness such effective networking and intense learning. It was good to meet old friends and get to know new ones. Warm thanks to Brett and all the moderators that worked hard to get the event going! Thanks also to the sponsors. The London Pubconference 2002 has been great success. We are already looking forward to the next one! The East Coast, was it? Per and Susanne
