You know, the problem with being an eternal pessimist is that you always assume news will be BAD! I was fearing the worst... you could have told us it was GOOD news! Watch out London!

OK, somebody really wants to keep me away from these things! My company has done two conferences a year for our clients; one in the winter and one in the summer. The Bar Conference happened to be on the same weekend as our winter conference, so I couldn't attend. Or at least I thought it just "happened!" But this year we decided to switch to just one conference a year, and moved it to the fall. So of course just a few weeks after the date is finalized, the Pub Conference is on the same weekend! Coincidence? Or conspiracy?

Well what about those under 21? Any chances of getting one of these going in the U.S. ? I sure would be willing to help orchestrate something. It's hard for a 20 year old to pay for a plane ticket to get to London. -OMP [edited by: OhMyPixel at 6:39 pm (utc) on July 2, 2002]

BTW, NFFC says he isn't going to let the US mods off the hook with BarConference [barconference.com]. He says PUBconference [pubconference.com] is king and aims to prove it.

Well, PubCon has MUCH better beer on tap... but I don't think London could beat the weather in S. California on the best of days. Good thing I care more about good beer than good weather... ;)
