I'd been seeing problems connecting to Google UK over the last couple of weeks but put it down to bad connections or dns issues. However yesterday I met a friend at the pub, who knew I worked on internet things, and he said Google's broken. So obviously I'm not the only one experiencing difficulties. So has anyone else been experiencing similar problems with Google UK. The Com version has been solid as a rock over the same peiod.

Could he have been referring to yesterday's several hours of down time on Google UK for much of Britain? I haven't seen any problems at all, even yesterday.

He probably was, in a way I suppose it shows the way people now just expect it to be there all the time.
