| cannot search my site

i just dont know how this happens. if i typed my domain to google, yahoo and msn search engine, it cannot be found or recognized, even typing the domain name itself like mysite.com? does it have to do who registered my domain or where my site is hosted? whats the best thing to do. by the way the site is already 2 weeks online.
