Hey guys:)

I was thinking about leaveing *out* the keyword in the filename of some of my pages to avoid penalties.(spam) Do you think this will hurt or help rankings?

What do you guys think?

Thanks fellas. I appreciate your help:)

I would think that changing your file structure may hurt your ranking. I could be wrong but from what I have been reading in here it may hurt more than help if you don't do it right.

Warning before you make the changes read this thread frenzy: [webmasterworld.com...]

Thanks for your info Stuart_S :)

But i am developing the site right now. It has not gone live before. So when i said "hurt rankings" i meant if it would be *better* or worse for a site to include or not include the keywords in the file name for a websites files?

>This is speaking of better pr and better "seo" of pages.

kw= widget

Ex. Widget.html

vs 12ee.html

Would it be better for the site to *not* use any kw in the file name or *use* a kw in the file name?
>as far as better pr and seo of pages?
