MacBeth, You have previously written about getting kicked out of the SEs. Continue asking questions like how to build scraper sites and continue to think that this is the way to get ahead and you will continue to need advice on why you are being banned by Google et al.

I appreciate that but I still think I should know about this technology, why it is being used and why it is frowned upon. Surely its better I find out beforehand rather than going ahead and then being banned from google et al. I'm only trying to expand my knowledge, thats all.

It works fairly well, simply because it's easy to generate a ton of content (think 50K-100K pages an hour) automatically and eventually rank for *something*. Basically, you need to randomize an existing (hopefully automated) content source to get around any dupe filters. Then you publish it, get some links, and make sure the internal link structure is sound. It's pretty easy to do. Don't expect to rank #1 for "internet", but you can hit some little known terms thousands of times for some decent traffic.
