Hi! I have been asked to try to help some customers to increase their traffic for several keywords. But they dont want me to touch their real homepage and instead build new pages on a new domain and then we charge them for each visitor that our new sites generates to them.

I have seen how some competitors here have done and they have used cloaking. they have bulit houndreds of junk pages but when you enter them they reirect you to the real site but when looking at the cached page its just a junk page with keywords.

But i would prefer not to cloak like this and instead build pages with real content because im afraid to get penalized. So my question is if there is any good way to do this with a redirect if i build a real page that redirect to the companys webpage? I have read that google dont like redirects is that true? and if i do this what redirect should i use? and do you have any other suggestions how i can do this?

All help is VERY welcome :-)

k3nn3 the best way is to just have banners and links throughout the site to them, this also gives you the chance to make some extra $ from affiliate programs or spread your own companies name as well as promoting their services.

Yes but do you really think people will click on those banners? why dont use a redirect instead?
I have seen several sites do this way so it cant be so wrong?

I keep hearing that there are some redirects that Google doesn't mind and then there are some redirects that they would frown on.

Has anyone seen a definitive answer anywhere, on what redirects they like and don't like please?
