msg:233619 | 6:31 pm on Jun 12, 2003 (gmt 0) | Hi, I'm looking for information on the most highly used Spanish search engines, particularly those used in Mexico. I have a client who is interested in entering this market, and I haven't done and SEM for these engines. Any tips and tricks are appreciated, but mainly I need to know the best targets for the program. (edited for typo)

I'm just glad I have a partner who speaks fluent Spanish or this would be a very difficult project. Is there a site (preferably in English) that discusses the intracacies of these search engines? I know the US based SE's like the back of my hand, but I feel like a newbie again when it comes to this.

| Use the site search function in the upper left hand corner of your screen. Search for "mexico search engines". There are quite a few threads that discuss various latin based search engines, nothing real specific to Mexico. Your post got me thinking and I spent about an hour doing some research, for myself, and of course the board. It looks like Google is of course going to be one of your primary SEs. A regional Yahoo! directory listing is in order also. Now, when it comes to the rest of them, I'm lost too! ;)
