Google Mac Dashboard Widgets

We have indeed tried them, the problem with dashboard widgets (compared to Yahoo) is that you have to be in Dashboard to use them, an extra step that is silly for things like this, Amnesty is a decent solution, but it never works well for me.

you can pull widgets out of the Dashboard, but even so if you've got it triggered to a hot key or hot corner, it doesn't take very much effort to use it. If you're used to using Exposť then working with Dashboard is not more difficult.

madmac, this is not an issue of how difficult something is, rather how useful, we develop widgets for both platforms and I use the Yahoo ones on my computer as they are always there on my desktop.

If I want to see the weather, calendar or how poorly my stocks are performing I can look at my desktop without doing anything... they ar alwyas there.
