Hello there. What I need help with is something that is found all over the web, but I can't find an answer to. I want to create a members only section; however, I want to have the joining automated.

Basically what I want is to have a Join page, and from that page the input of their Name, email address, User Name, Password, whether they want to be part of the E-mail group, and their major. From that information, I want an email sent to me, the webmaster, so that I can check to see if they are in the program and then grant them access without seeing their password.

I know little PHP, and little apache, but am willing to learn. Is there a script or something that I can use to get this done? I'm using UMBC's server which is running the latest version of Apache (as it is to my knowledge). If you want to find out what version it's running, you can check here: [userpages.umbc.edu...] . I can create the form and everything, I just need to know what the coding is for it. Thanks for any and all help.

The link is for whoever wants to check and see if they can dig a lot deeper than I already have and find an answer, or help in answering this question.

Sorry. As you can see I've edited my post, removed my "signature" and taken out a link. The link that is there now is for informational purposes so those who wish to help and see what kind of server and all is running, as well as other things, not other purpose. Sorry for any wrong-doing I have done.
