Hi!

After following the posts and working for 3 weeks here, I am able to get my SEOed pages in the first SERP without any link-building campaign for some specific keywords.

But, I am having hard-time with the phrases like "xyz abc" With Quotes, If I give it to the SE for EXACT word search, I get the results as I expect it to be. It doesn't work efficiently without quotes.

Why? Remedies? Fixes? Suggestions?

Thank You

okay the main difference is on the exact (with quotes) you are eliminating all the pages WITHOUT that exact phrase.

example :

renault car -> google returns 431,000
"renault car" -> google returns 4,010

the exact keyword term is now a lot less competitive take one step further 3 keyword term

blue renault car -> google returns 43,700
"blue renault car" -> google returns 3

so "blue renault car" is really really non-competitive

Remedies? Fixes? Suggestions?

link-building and keep reading here about seo

without quotes is tougher but in my opinion the only worthwhile option, from talking to many Internet users, few know what quotes are or even that they are an option.

yep, keep reading here and build those links to your site
