Free hosting - Can you see your logs?

 9:23 pm on Feb 6, 2003 (gmt 0)

Just put up a site using mysitespace and was wandering how I find out if anyone is viewing my site. Can you access your web logs with them/ any free hosting?

mysitespace doesn't allow access to logs on the free accounts - you'd have to upgrade one level ($3.95 pre month - I'd pay that to see my logs). I don't know off the top of my head which free hosts offer logs or not tho.

If they have ssi you can use a free logging system like AXS, or you can even use transparent 1x1 pixel images if you have to. AXS even has a tool that converts it to a standard apache style log so you can run other analyzing software on it ( [xav.com...] )
