Hi
Am at my wits end, for the last 6 months or so I have been trying to set up a 301 redirect from www.example.co.uk to www.example.com. I have been doing this on and not (not 6 months continuous!)

I have scoured WW but have not found simple instructions of how to set it up for the beginer. I'm using dreamweaver as my site builder.

Please please someone help me.... before I abandon it!

Thanks

There are options, and I use an .htaccess file for this.

Taming the Beast [tamingthebeast.net]

redirect 301 /text/misc/shipping.html [domain-name.com...]

This place is overrun with resources. Drop this into Google:
site:webmasterworld.com 301 redirect how

DON'T do a 301! I had one done recently and one of my higher PR domains got a penalty and dropped 1 rank.

If the domain is really high, I suggest not risking it.
