Hi, Can anyone tell me how to go about creating a web site that earns money giving away free stuff and getting people to sign up for get paid to read emails, etc? I realise that this is a competitive area to aim for. However, I think that people are likely to sign up for free things and I was wondering if there is a way of setting up a free stuff website that was less competitive. Any advice? Regards Andrea

There’re tones of things to know about creating a website that can offer its paid-type services. So, what’s your exact question? Are you wondering how to build and program that or just want to know about how it works briefly? ;-)

The easiest thing to give away for free is information.
Free newspapers have been monetising free info for decades by selling the advertising estate around the articles. It's simple and it works.

After creating site you should create your solid online presence with good contents to attract the advertiser.
