Very cool addition, Brett. I would have loved to have a forum like this when I first was trying to figure out "What is SEO?" Knowing the type of people who hang out at wmw, I bet there will be a lot of senior members who keep an eye on the forum ready to help. That's what makes wmw special. :) Thanks for taking on the mod-challenge, JamesR!

Brett, Are you going to move all of the Google - my site's doing "this" and now it's doing "that" to this area :) I would also suggest posting a single post and keeping it on "top" that lists all the FAQs/KB (hyperlinks)for each SE. I know it would be redundant but this would be easy to refer users to. My 2-cents

Great Idea! I'll keep an eye on it for sure as I know others will, sounds like a good way to get it all organised better for newbies ;) Nick

I think one of the most interesting forums.... I always read the 'newbie'questions first to see if any of the questions I'm too embarrassed to ask pop up. Nice one JamesR Oh, and they often do LOL

All these new forums :) I am seeing this turn from SEO type stuff to more general, is that the plan or just a place to post misc stuff? Thanks JamesR for being a moderator :) This one I think will be a tough one (:~

Thanks everyone. Hopefully we can get more users to feel comfortable about posting basic questions here at WebmasterWorld. I really have a desire for this forum to help build a solid foundation for the beginning webmaster.

>Will this forum also be some kind of a "site review" ? where people new to web development can get there site reviewed, howto make it better? nope, no specific site reviews keeping consistent with WebmasterWorld guidelines (also moderator can't handle it :))
