asp dynamic page as index page will it be ranked?

Hi I have a site that sells computer graphics imagery. I am considering having someone change my index page so that is currently just simple html to asp and have them write some asp code so that a section of the page contains a different fairly large image (each different image would if clicked on link to a different page on the site that was relevant to that image. Would this kind of alteration to the page mean that the page or even the entire site may not be ranked or might have its ranking effected. Would it make any difference if the asp just changed the image and not any links?

Not a problem.

My main page is an ASP page which first checks which of the 5 domains I host is being referenced, and then immediately redirects to the appropriate page.
