I've been googling, dogpiled, and such looking for ActiveX scripting that downloads a file to a specific directory, for example, I created a document.dot for corporation to use as default template, however it changes constantly. Since corporate uses IE by default, so I looked into ActiveX (Or asp) to copy a dot file to specific directory. How can I use ActiveX to do exactly that?

You get Visual Basic and create an ActiveX component with a public interface that you can instantiate on a web page using IE.
