Dreamweaver MX 2004, which includes new CSS tools, integration with Microsoft's Word and Excel office applications and new tools for validating a page design on multiple browsers.

Looking forward to the new CSS tools & multiple browser validation. Anyone know when it's available for download?

Macromedia partners get it in September, but I don't know when it will be available to the general public.

The new suite, coupled with the latest version of CFMX should be quite a departure, and quite an upgrade. I'm really excited about CFMX 6.1 and all it entails, especially from the hosting perspective.

Looks like they're heavily promoting it with events in Sept. but no date is noted on the MM web site. I'll have to say, it ain't cheap, the upgrade is some $400. Standalone $899? I think MX still suits me fine, for now.

Doh! Just bought MX six weeks ago! Looks like the CSS stuff is a major step forward. The current CSS interface is horrid.

Interesting that they're promoting "Cross-Browser Validation" too...
