FrontPage Help
copying text, html w/FrontPage

 6:15 pm on Aug 14, 2003 (gmt 0)

I am fairly new with using FrontPage as the only editor for building web pages and am coming across a problem that I hope can be solved/advised upon. Currently, if I try to copy and paste something from one page to another - such as <a href="../index.htm"> for example, Frontpage will modify that text to <a href="PATH DIRECTORY/index.htm">.

Also, if I try to copy content from a source of some kind (say a webpage or a word doc) to FrontPage it automatically adds font characteristics.

Is there any way to prevent FrontPage from making these additions? Is there some sort of command or FrontPage modification I can make?

Thanks ahead for any advice - dedmond29

Paste the code into Notepad first, then paste it into the editor.

I have been doing that - is that pretty much the only way?
Especially from one doc to another.

On another note: I noticed that if I copy html to html (from the html view) - it doesn't format the code.

Pasting to notepad is how I've been doing it for quite a while now...
