How do you remove comment tags in MD4?

Hi
I use Dreamweaver 4 for site design. Usually templates. Someone just told me that it'd be better if I took the comment tags ( <!-- #BeginTemplate "/Templates/indextemplate1.dwt" -->) off my pages. I don't know whether this has any impact on SE rankings, but I too would like to have cleaner pages. The question is How do I do that? Is there a quick way to remove that code?

Thanks
Dan

Hi Dan,

First make a copy of your site, there is an easy way :)

With one of the copies, go to find/replace and select entire site if thats all you want to edit and check the "use regular expressions" box.

Put this in the find box
<!-- #BeginTemplate ".*" -->

The only edit from your code is the .* bit, which is supposed to match any character, i.e. the filename to your template which will be different each time....the regular expression matches them all.

Great! Thanks. I didn't think there was a way to do that.
