I've never seen it Ken. More is the problem you have to select the files manually to edit them. Usually I resorted to closing FP down after search and replace and clicking very fast on yes to each "do you want to save this file...." Not the most practical way but don't know of a better way for FP One of the reasons I click on DW instead :)

BOL; Thanks. Seems odd that there'd be a global s/r function and not global save. I have DW4, but don't use it much. And getting him away from FP would be REALLY hard...

>>Usually I resorted to closing FP down after search and replace and clicking very fast on yes to each "do you want to save this file...." May be the same in FP2000, I'm using 2002. After search and replace I just select the Publish Web link on the toolbar, it will prompt you to save all the changed pages prior to publishing and you can do that with a single click. There has to be an easier way......

Coconutz; Thanks, that sounds easier than one at a time if it works in 2000.

The jimcoaddins.com site has free COM addins for FP including one that adds a Save All function to the FP2K menu. I've used this one for years without any trouble.
