Dreamweaver template problem
Greyed out most of the source code...

I have a site using a DW template that has a header and footer. I designed a new template that did this with SSI files instead and when I was happy with it I started to change the old template to use the SSI parts.

Somehow (not sure what happened, possibly cut and pasting) the original template has ended up with a grey area after and including this text to the end of the page:

<!-- InstanceBeginEditable name="head" -->
<!-- InstanceEndEditable -->

What it should say is:

<!-- TemplateBeginEditable name="head" -->
<!-- TemplateEndEditable -->

I can't edit it or delete it, it is locked in it seems. Is there a way to fix this, I have thought about doing a 'save as' to replace the old template with the SSI version but I have read so many posts about templates screwing up that I don't want to risk it ;)

Any replies appreciated.

<edit> fixed it by doing a 'save as' and overwriting the problem file. Still curious to know what happened ;)</edit>
