Best editor for database integration
Getting back into web design

 5:18 pm on Jun 16, 2006 (gmt 0)

I am looking for an easy to use (relatively) design program that can integrate a database of about 5000 records.

I have been out of web design for about 4 years and before that was using Drumbeat 2000. I thought that was a good program, easy to create ASP pages. But that is not available any more.

Does anyone have any suggestions? What is a good package, and what new skills do I have to learn?

Does it have to be integrated with a design package? There are lots of good open source databases, some of them integrated with design packages, some not. There are also design packages that will work with many different databases.

I would think that you would want to be able to develop with or without integrated database support though -- what would you do if your client already has a database that is not integrated with your design package?
