|Page includes not working|
| 7:02 pm on Mar 7, 2006 (gmt 0)|
I want to include another of my own webpages inside another page on my site. The page is located on my server and not on myharddrive.
The following code doesn't seem to work?
<!--webbot bot="Include" U-Include="http://mysite.com/vbpro/htdocs/guestbook/entries.html" TAG="BODY" -->
All I can see on the page is:-
If I try to use <!--webbot bot="Include" U-Include="..vbpro/htdocs/guestbook/entries.html" TAG="BODY" -->
I get the message
"The Front Page include component only works on files in the current web. Please select a page to include from the current web."
Is there any way round this using FP2002?

To the best of my knowledge FP Includes only work within the same web. If you need an include from another site then take a look at SSH, PHP or iFrame methods of including this content.

I will try to research SSI - hope it works.

You cannot include pages or content from another site, it has to be in the same web, as FP actually adds it to the including page as it is published.

My question is, why is that file not on your hard drive?
