Hi,

I have a server side includes on all of my webpages, the problem is the code from the server side page is showing up on the pages in the source code instead of being hidden looking like i have 2 titles.
How can i hide this please using dreamweaver.

Wayne.

The file that you are "including" needs to be ONLY the code that you want pulled in. Use a text editor to get rid of the extra <html> <title> <meta> and <body> tags.
Don't forget to edit out the </body> and </html> at the bottom, too.

Once online, the source code of the "included" section will show in the source code of the overall page. You can't make it hidden. If you don't want it there, then don't include it.

Maybe someone can help me here:
I tried to use the SSI in one of my pages and once i insert the SSI item, all page elements disappear and I can only see the SSI item that I inseted, the rest of the page becomes gray. When I upload the page to the server, the page loads normally.

Could the problem be with the code or it is an error in inserting the SSI item?

Thanks a lot
