What text code editors allow manual highlighting of code?
File-specific bold/highlight and possibly notes

I use TextPad and I love it but as I am beginning to open the same files over and over I would like the ability to make notes that are not part of the actual code to make it faster to find the parts that I frequently modify in my templates.

Ideally I would like to do things like manually make certain snippets/lines visually different (Highlighting or bold for example)

Has anyone come across a good text code editor that allows this and still has all of the nice features of TextPad (Coloring, library, tabs, spell/code check, macro's etc..)?

Thanks!

Fribs
