Hi there!

I need to have streaming audio on my site, it really doesn't have to be "true streaming" (I know this requires some special server technology), I just don't want it to be downloadable (due to a copyright issue).

I have tried with the embed tag - it works fine with video, but I noticed with audio,in some browsers, all you have to do is rightclick and download the file( correct me if I am wrong).

Ty the way - I am a poor WYSIWYG programmer, so I need an easy solution...

Thanks in advance

K

If you're worried about copyright issues, you can't put it on the web because even if I can't download the file, I can record it using an MP3 recorder (or whatever).

It's also difficult to mask where the file location is (such as to prevent someone from seeing where the file is located and downloading it from that location).

You might get more replies next time if you post in the correct forum.

Hope this helps.

I have already cleared all copyright issues and I am paying a monthly lisence to stream a certain amount audio.

I just don't know how to make it "non-downloadable"...

Suggestions are still very welcome

PS Sorry for posting in the wrong forum, I thought question was relevant to this forum since I am strictly using a WYSIWYG editor and need a suitable solution
