Can the info just get emailed to me?

Hi, I hope this is not a completely stupid question. I want to collect some information from visitors to my site and I want to implement it quickly. That is, without having to learn too much. I have figured out how to put a form on my site using Dreamweaver but I cannot make head or tail out of the instructions for what happens when the visitor hits "submit." Clearly I am lacking some key knowledge. Is there a way to set it up so that when the visitor hits "submit" the information gets sent to me in an email? If not, what do I need to learn to do?

Thanks!
