They also recently introduced their mega-spendy always-on internet connected email monster machine... the i705 at $449 Yikes! I'd love to get wireles email on my PDA, and the i705 would actually make me consider defecting from my Handspring Visor Edge to a Palm on it's form-factor, but up here in Interior Alaska, wireless access is something you take out a second mortgage for (palm.net isn't available), and I just can't see paying much money for internet access on such a tiny screen.... Don't even know if it's usable with non-palm.net wireless internet either.

Well, it was a toss up between a new iPaq/Jornada, and a new Laptop. So instead, I went with the 130, AND the Laptop. Those will tide me over until the pda's get real 'serious' about CE. We are still in the elementary stages of these things.
