Opera's small screen emulator
Why is 36 pixels the small threshold for images?

My pages use some 32x32 icons (e.g., to click for top of page) with alt="some text"... The Opera Shift+F11 screen insists on showing the alt text instead of the icon (the icon shows up okay on Opera's normal screen). If I show the <img for anything that is 36x36 or larger the image shows up okay on the small screen. If any dimension is less than 36 it gets scrunched out though if I right-click and "load image" I can see a copy of it... What gives? (P.S. I'm only using Opera for testing - I'd be glad to use any other browser that could show me a small screen like that...)
